The board measures 5' long x 9" wide
And it is 1 1/2" thick
The wood took no other means of preparation, so I was able to get right to placing the brackets on.
I got to bust out my new power drill to build this!
Pretty simple construction
A different array of books fits quite nicely
The chipped end was almost cut off by the lumber guy, but I wanted to keep it because I knew it would give the shelf some character
The shelf can hold a substantial amount of items which clears up a lot of space for me
