SÃO PAULO – GREEN CITY
This is a small contribution for the December 2013 issue of the
The briefing was to make something that was related to architecture
or urbanism in a witty/critical way, so I decided to show a side of
the megalopolis I'm living in now: São Paulo. With almost 20 million
people, São Paulo has neglected some important issues in its design,
such as green areas well distributed along the city.
This photographic project ironically shows some green areas of
São Paulo through its relation to miniatures dolls. It also shows the
message that even though nature's been neglected, it always finds
its way in the middle of the concrete jungle.
