I shot this series of photographs with a 35mm film camera during my Thanksgiving break while at home in New Jersey. Superstorm Sandy plundered and destroyed homes throughout the state, mostly along the shorelines. In a majority of these photos, I chose to only focus in on the visible damage of the homes and structures. I decided not to always depict a completely clear and crystal image because I wanted the viewer to take special note of the damage they are seeing, and to feel the impact that it especially had on me.
