“Salt and Bread” is an Egyptian expression that indicates tolerance, involvement, and acceptance. This design is for a non governmental, nonprofit organization funded by a group of people coming from different professional, political and religious backgrounds. I chose the grains number to be 9 grains, taking as a reference the Egyptian quote “We are all sons of nine” that signalizes equity and citizenship. In English this quote is known as ”Jack is as good as his master”. The underlying meaning of the wave shape, is people’s common paths, ups and downs. Read Less
