SAFE

.M Contemporary Gallery from Sidney invited fifty artists, both established and emerging, from around the world to take part in their inaugural international illustrator’s exhibition.
The topic of this exhibition was “the path less deconstructed”, and it was a license to engage with something we are passionate about. It was simply about inner reflection of individual practice and fundamentally, what makes us, us.

“Safe” was my contribuition to this exhibition.
In my teenage years i spent most of my time drawing with pencil, and materialising universes that existed between my imagination and reality. In this piece “Safe” my intention was to recreate that process, using digital media, which allowed me to explore textures and atmospheres in a unique way, carrying real elements into a surreal environment.
