Acting as a flexible skin, the movement of each module affects the behavior of its neighbors as would a swarm. The surface can twist and turn without sacrificing structural rigidity. The installation was selected to remain on permanent display in the library’s atrium after the conclusion of the exhibit. The design was later entered into the Architecture for Humanity Street Furniture Competition in Chicago where it was selected as a finalist. team: Emily Ho, Nathan Kiatkulpiboone, Karen Wang Read Less
