If bad luck had a face, it would be this project! But it wasn’t meant to be this way. Actually, it was a work canceled before it gets done. The illustration would be part of a custom magazine for a student exchange program agency and the theme was tourism. Well, it didn’t work. The client did not approve, because there were some internal divergences of opinion on how should the magazine look like... it’s a long story. However, we knew that it was a good piece of work and we could use it for other purpose. We tried to sell the illustrations for a company that produces wall stickers and skins for tablets and laptops... it didn’t work. Anotther shot was to print some posters with another company... Wrooong! So we let as a personal work for a long time. Despite of this trajectory of rejection, the work has a good acceptance by general public. Couple of illustration blogs published the project in their inspiration sections. And because of that the art, finally, became a vinyl wallet sold by a brazilian t-shirt brand: ElCabriton.
