Finding a light switch in the dark can be inconvenient and difficult. Being in the dark can even lead to accidents or feeling unsafe. Motion activated lights solve this but they often require significant installation. SEE Sense solves this problem in that it can convert any regular lamp fitting into a motion activated light with minimum installation.

It is a "plug-and-play" adapter with two portionable sensors that can switch the lamp on in the presence of movement and it is as easy as changing a lightbulb to install.

This is one of the longer projects I have worked on and progressing the design to a manufacturable form has required much iteration and development work. Most of this has revolved around packaging the necessary hardware and functionality in the most efficient way. It has also required significant consideration of cost saving and meeting international safety standards. The finalised design was reached by numerous rapid prototype models and close work with electrical engineers.
