I was brought onto this project to assist in the completion of several of the dozen+ sets for this music video featuring Michael and Janet Jackson. The set finish work demanded a high level of perfection, with automotive finishes and highly reflective surfaces that took precision in seaming with hours of Bondo-ing and prepping (one set featured a "pineapple -ring ceiling), it was exhausting work that went on 'round the clock. Directed by Mark Romanek, (Tom Foden, Production Designer) the video was shot at Universal Studios in March of 1995 and was a MTV Award Winner. And it ranks as top of the 10-list of the most expensive music videos ever produced. Read Less

The sets - over a dozen - took up three full sized sound stages at Universal Studios in Los Angeles, CA. 
The floors were specially imported white high-gloss vinyl linoleum and plexiglass, to work on these sufaces required taking off shoes and wearing surgical booties over socks.
