Along with the visual artist Cauê VM, we created this book design project of a ture brazilian children's story.
Our main goal was to create something that would tie up the illustrations, made of artesanal paper by the illustrator Rita Vidal, and the story in a creative, inovative way.
So we have created the pattern of the paper, inspired in the paper she used to illustrate, and divideded the text in a layout that would help the reading with out filling up the pages with endless texts.
we also designed very simple illustrations, with one color and absolutely no details, to enrich the texts pages and give movement and a continuation of the real illustrations, linking one to another.
