From La Bohème to Beyoncé, our new design tells the story of arguably the most famous entertainment venue in the world. The theme of the guidebook is Entertaining the World and the brief was to create a lavish souvenir guide. Perhaps best known for the BBC Proms, leading artists from every kind of genre have appeared on stage at the Hall.
One of our ideas to depict this eclectic mix, was to design a centre spread made up of posters and programmes through the ages. There were some amazing publications that came to light, including a Chelsea Arts Club Ball poster from 1920, a Beatles poster, a 1968 Eurovision Song Contest poster and a Muhammad Ali boxing programme from 1971.
