Roli-Polies: From Concept to Game (2012)

Roli-Polies was a prototype platformer: one of a trio of games we pitched that ultimately lost out to Save the Day (which you can have a gander at in this project HERE.)
 
My role was to illustrate play (you can check that out HERE), design the environment and characters and then produce final art assets. The images below show the transition. 
The final look: concept painting, Photoshop.
The working level, prototype art, in-game screen.
The final level 'dressed' -- note the baby hamster is still proto art -- our editor had parallaxing but no depth of field so the foreground assets were pre-blurred.
