DEI Holdings, owners of audio brands Polk and Definitive Technology, wished to reach a younger audience through their up-and-coming brand, BOOM . frog conducted research with 13-29 year olds in their homes and where they hang out. These conversations revealed that sound quality and durability were high on their list of needs.
These findings resulted in a design language coined as "Ready for Anything" (also known as R4A). R4A calls for durable, flexible, and expressive designs that are ready to go on a moments notice. For young people who live in the moment and connect to bigger ideas, Boom delivers a series of products that set the stage wherever you end up.
The Boom Rogues are a set of over-ear headphones that embody R4A. With sculptural, pure forms and dj-inspired flexibility, the Rogues bring a classic look to the BOOM brand.
