For the final project of the semester we were to design a proposed overhaul of the existing ground planes throughout the street that runs through campus, Summit Street. There were several items that had to be addressed. First, we had to provide access for emergency vehicles through the site in case they were needed. Next, the newly acquired building on campus, the Central King Building, needed to have a redesigned entrance that would be accessible by all persons. Next, there are currently two campus maps along this street but they provide only a limited amount of information, so we needed to design kiosks or wayfinding devices to provide information for events. Below I attached my presentation boards with my proposed design for the site.
