‘Reasons why I’m sick’ was the concept of my info graphic. Through focussing on eating disorders and the reasons why eating disorders occur I started to develop a understanding of the process and thinking that goes into visualising complex information into smaller simple diagrams. 

 

Research illustrated that there are three main causes of Eating Disorders: 

Sociological, Genetic, and Psychological. 

 

Each cause was examined and portrayed through graphs, illustrations and numbers. 

 

 

Lime green, muted grey/Black and Pink. These colours are metaphors of: 

 

Pink- Woman

Lime Green- Feeling of Sick  

Muted Grey/Black- Feeling melancholic
