Realestate.com.au are the number one property site in Australia. Not wanting to rest on their achievements, we were asked to help redefine the brand, specifically addressing how they could go beyond purely having the most listings and visitors. We brought some character to what had become a largely transactional brand, through a tone of voice program and a new graphic language. We stripped back the 3D effects and utilised bold messaging and illustration to demonstrate myriad property insights in engaging ways. The logo was refined, creating the upward arrow in the negative space of the house and stripping back bevels and reflections. Realestate.com.au wanted to be relevant to people through their property journey, whether leasing, improving or monitoring the market, not just when buying or selling. New sections were created on the site, such as Home Ideas, which presents home decoration tips and interior design trends.
