I focused on a section of their organization known as "ReStore" because it is a simple, easy and effective way to start involvement in Habitat for Humanity. ReStore sells usable surplus materials to the public for a fraction of retail price and all proceeds fund the construction of homes. Problem: Many people think the only way to be involved with Habitat for Humanity is by helping build a house.
Insight: Buying or donating surplus building and home goods at ReStore, a store made by Habitat for Humanity, allows anyone to help with construction of Habitat homes.
Idea: Fixing or renovating your own home with goods from ReStore helps fund a Habitat home in your community.
