This student project was developed as part of the Visual Communications 2 class in the Graduate Communications Design program at Pratt Institute NYC. We had to choose and rebrand an organization or institution, so I chose the Puerto Rico Islanders. The Puerto Rico Islanders are first and for most a professional soccer team based in Bayamón, Puerto Rico. Founded in 2003, the team plays in the North American Soccer League. They are the only professional team in Puerto Rico attracting the most talented players not only from Puerto Rico, but also from the whole Caribbean region. Being the only professional team in Puerto Rico, every young player dreams of one day putting on the Islanders uniform. This is why Puerto Rico Islanders is committed to help get these young talents developed to their full potential with their youth programs and academies. Not only do they focus on the sports side but also in promoting values and education, and at the same time keeping them out of the streets. Another mission the Puerto Rico Islanders have is to promote Puerto Rico as a tourism spot. Read Less

To attract tourism to Puerto Rico, these ads will be placed around the stadiums where the Islanders play on the road. 
These ads will be placed around Puerto Rico. The aim is to create expectation for the beginning of the season. As days pass, people will be given more information about what the ads are about.
