This peice is based upon the proverb "The hunter becomes the hunted" when i was given this brief I imediatley thought about adiction and how people think there in control when actually the substance is what is in control of the person.
I really wanted to explore visual communications so I started researching branding for cigarettes and cafine products. The badge is the lucky strike branding logo and then the background texture is a scaned rizla this implacates visual communication as the target audience would recognise these links to smoking without literally there being a cigarette on the page.
Then taking it very literally the hunter has droped his rifle leaving him weak and exposed to the dangers of addiction (The leaping wolf). This event of Hunter vs Wolf is happening inside a bigger wolf to show the hunter is already beyond saving.
Overall this poster is a mix of conceptual thought process and visual communication.
