Portugal Nike Soccer Kits 2014 / 2015 This project was developed for the online course "Secrets of Sports Uniform Design Uncovered" by Stewart Scott-Curran on Skillshare. It's a personal project that had as goal to strengthen the relationship between the history of Portugal and the history of Brazil, to celebrate the fact that in 2014 Portugal will play the World Cup in Brazil. The three uniforms brings to reality a different era in the history of Portugal and Brazil: The red represents the future, the green represents the present, and white and blue represents the past. For the first uniform was maintained the red color tone widely used in recent uniform Portugal. Along with the red, shorts and socks have also green details, from the flag of Portugal. The Away Kit brought back the color green, as previously used, but discarded by the preference to white. Green and yellow, the uniform reference costumes and maritime history of Portugal in the period that just discovered Brazil. It is also the union of the colors of the flags of both countries. The third kit keeps the white color of the uniforms, with the new stripe of the blue side. It's a reference to the flag used by Portugal in ports and ships, which determined the boundary waters of Portugal. Ricardo Carvalho Sports Branding Read Less
