8x8 Haiku8x8 Haikus within Narrative Stements on Original Graphic Backgrounds
This is a side project I started in my free time. My goal this year is to produce 52 of these (roughly one a week). I start by writing a haiku and then piecing it together with a larger narrative. Sometimes the two themes mirror each other, sometimes they don't. I then design a graphic back ground in Photoshop and lay it all out in InDesign. This is very experimental for me and some of the tiles work better than others. However, it's fun to see each one take shape.
