Playful Typographic Experiments
A collection of playful typographic experiments exploring the use of different mediums to create type.
To start off my experiments I decided to play around with Hama Beads. Firstly creating a calligraphy style typeface and secondly a comic style type design.
My next experiment was based around hand cut paper art similar to that of designer MrYen's work. The quote I have used for this piece,
"All God does is watch us and kill us when we get boring. We must never, ever be boring."
is one of my favourite quotes and is by the author Chuck Palahniuk.
For this experiment I played with ink and masking paint to create a messy yet clean piece of type.
Going along with the same theme of "messy yet clean", for my final experiment I played with spray mount and glitter to produce this piece of typography.
