Piscina das Marés
Piscina das Marés is a generative logotype and branding project. This project explores the Piscina das Marés building in Portugal. The logotype was inspired by the building structure, the shadows, and lights.
The building merges nature (sea) with a very structured building, the generation of the logotype represents that bonding through the use of the solid squares (inspired by the building) being designed size-wise according to the Fibonacci Theory (nature-inspired code).
The process
I started my process by visiting the building. I took some photos and started to map the shapes I saw. I explored several structure-inspired logotypes too.
