  • "As early as 1869, women have been supporters and protestors of the pin-up. Women supporters of early pin-up content considered these to be a "positive post-Victorian rejection of bodily shame and a healthy respect for female beauty." - Meyerowitz, Joanne.

    The aim of this project was to follow Meyerowitz' ideal and to create a series of modern illustrations celebrating the appreciation of pin up figures in the 1950's. In this series I have chosen to use geometry and bold pop colours to celebrate each individual figure, February 2013.
