Drawn in by pure, sugary deliciousness, he doesn't know that
what lead him to the circus is the very thing that will smother his chances for a normal life.

Unnatural
The Circus Show, 2 of 3:
To spectators, it's all fun and games. Look deeper and see the
longing for natural surroundings and sadness of being forced to be something other than yourself.

Brothers Will Fight
Commission

Whenever, wherever, by any means. Brothers will fight. This painting, done for a friend who has two boys, also relates back to me, being the middle of three boys.

The Dodo

Once the king of all creatures feathered, the Dodo ruled with might and respect from the ground. The island of Mauritius was his kingdom until driven into extinction by Dutch immigrants. Could he be protecting the last remaining egg to carry on the powerful family line?

Fix Your Own
Growing up, I learned to be creative with my meals. Being picky, I wouldn't eat most foods so I would have to fix my own. To others, most concoctions seemed disgusting. To me, they hit the spot. This is me in the future.

Twins
Seems like there is always one who is the leader and the other is the follower. Same person on the outside, but completely different on the inside.

House Call
People tend to get embarrassed when going to the doctor. This raises the question "do animals feel embarrassment?"

Kazoo
Growing up, my older brother took piano lessons. One day, he came home with a GIANT Snickers bar. I was jealous and wanted candy, too. I wanted to play piano to get in on the candy action. Turns out that I despised piano lessons and practice was my least favorite part of the day. I turned it into kazoo lessons. Y'know, artistic license and all.
