In early June 2011, the Greenhouse Association invited a few young designers to a ceramics workshop in the Atelier of Arlette and Marc Simon, in the region of the Haute-Loire.

There is a fundamental affinity between the material of clay and the act of cooking. This research reworked the conventional cooking oven, by carving into two parts, a plate and a bell. After the exhibition tour of Objets Manufacturés, other testing has validated its culinary possibilities: olfactory, visual, physical, gustatory...

Invité par l'association Greenhouse et par les céramistes Marc et Arlette Simon, cet atelier a été l'occasion de commencer une expérimentation primitive de la matière terre. Il y a une affinité fondamentale entre le matériau terre et l'acte de cuisson. Cette proposition vise à explorer les possibilités d'une cuisson sous cette atmosphère particulière, créée par cette cloche. Après les expositions, des essais culinaires devront valider ces possibilités. Expériences olfactives, visuelles, matérielles, gustatives. Terre rouge chamottée.
