I've been enjoying playing with 3D a lot. As every graphic designer's crisis we dream of knowing and mastering all realms so I've been attempting to at least have a fair knowledge of 3D.
The concept for this card was to symbolize important elements in this person's life and create iconic figures. The only real representation would be her. In addition, we decided to play off the combinations of circles and their colors: yellow was youth and craziness, blue represents tranquility and a sense of peace. The green is grounding and comes from the combination of both.
When Disorient asked me to fill their 50' two mirroring walls, I couldn't say no. They gave me full freedom in terms of design and volunteers to help. I chose disintegrating to integrate. The idea was to make the pixel art out of fluorescent paper, so the pixel idea wasn't so techy but easily related to touchable material. Here are the results.
