Personal branding project, including a logo and business cards.

 

The logo is inspired by the quick and endless energy of a hamster, while remaining sleek, fun and able to stand on its own. For the business cards, I chose to keep it minimal and professional, highlighting the logo and information. They were printed by MOO, Inc. on Luxe paper with a blue inner seam to match the blue diagonal lines.

 

Here's a look at the final product.

Starting with pencil sketches to get all the ideas down. I started with a lot of different icon ideas before deciding on the hamster which would represent me. The rabbits were an early idea to represent speed, while the cows come from a nickname (moo). In the end, I went with the hamster as it encompasses the qualities I want to portray while still being visually and geometrically appealing. And I like hamsters.

After choosing the design, I went in to Illustrator to flesh it out. You can see all the ideas I went through before settling on the final one.
