Given the challenge of branding myself as a graphic designer, I wanted something that would not only reflect me as a designer, but also me as a person. This is where the idea of a pattern grew from. Everything within the pattern reflects me and has something to do with my life or something that has had great influence over my career as a designer.
As the pattern was based around lots of things about myself, I felt as though the structure should too. I generally stay quite organised and can visualise my weeks in my head. They have a layout and and as soon as I know I am doing something the day becomes shaded in, then the day breaks down into three and the time period also becomes shaded in. So this is where how the structure was built. Then the icons where simply slotted in and tell a story about me.
