The Penny Stamps Distinguished Speaker Series presents public lectures each week by renowned creative innovators from a broad spectrum of fields. Speakers may also work with students, participate in panel discussions, generate exhibitions, create site-specific installations, and present performance pieces. It takes place at the historic Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor, MI at the heart of the University of Michigan campus. Every year working with the series director, Chrisstina Hamilton, we develop a theme and art direction for the series. The 2011-12 theme was Shift. Read Less
