Pearl's Delhi Couture Week
Print
The project was done for the inaugural gig of Delhi Couture Week in 2010.
It was done for the Fashion Design Council of India.
The goal was to mingle Indian design sensibilities with the grandness and opulenceof couture design. I chose the motif of a lotus for the central design theme as it represents beauty, grace and wealth. In the Indian context, the goddess of Wealth and grandness sits on a lotus throne. The event was 6 days long, representing some of the best fashion design talent in the country.
The project was done with Zeppelin Design & Environments, New Delhi.
