Having stayed near this reservoir for a good decade plus of my life, its recent development and upgrade to make it into a small-scale water-sports activities area is a step in the right direction. It is a surprise that they waited so long to make it into a commercially viable endeavour, given its location and the natural catchment area surrounding it.

 

But transform it definitely has...and it is nice to know that the preponderence of these water-sports activities in themselves are self-sustaining and beneficial to the overall health of the water quality, surrounding environment, and the immediate ecosystem.
