Here's a college assignment from spring 2011 which was about creating a packaging of an "unusual" song. Mine was "Aquaculture", by Jana Winderen, a song recorded in the depths of the seas in the Barents Sea, Greenland and Norway.
I chose to depict the sense of the depth by creating a packaging by 7 asymmetrically cut boxes in the shades of blue, which become darker as you go deeper. The cd is "hidden" within a black plexiglass box, that stands for the deepest point of the sea. The cd is covered with a semi-transparent paper cover, on which the name of the cd is printed with black lettering.
