This April sees the 158th Boat Race between the Universities of Oxford and Cambridge. The first ever race was held in 1829 and currently the score stands at 80 victories for Cambridge to Oxford's 76. To commemorate the event I decided to create an illustrated print which shows both crews in action along the Putney to Hammersmith stretch of the River Thames. WIthin the print you can see details such as the Harrods Depository building, Craven Cottage, the home of Fulham Football Club and the popular drinking establishments of the Blue Anchor and Old Ship by the riverside in Hammersmith. There are also many other detailed nods to London that you may discover with each glance. Enjoy! Read Less
