Oxjam is a national network of music festivals organised to raise money and awareness for the charity Oxfam. Whiteroom Media were invited to work alongside marketing agency Shinebright to provide an identity and design work to be used throughout the Leicester region. The regional identity was designed to work within the parameters of the main Oxjam branding guidelines, whilst incorporating unique regional themes such as the Charnwood fox. Stylised typography and symbols were used throughout the identity to make the event look and feel like a summer music festival. The promotional materials for the Oxjam events included flyers, posters, T-shirts, and programmes. These were all designed to communicate the summer festival look and feel. The regional website was designed and built to be highly accessible so that the event organisers could constantly produce and update content. Read Less

Brief
Oxjam is a national network of music festivals organised to raise money and awareness for the charity Oxfam. We were asked to create a specific regional identity and design to be used throughout the promotional materials.

The event was the most successful in Oxjam's history, raising over £40,000 for the charity.

We incorporated elements of the main Oxjam brand into the design so as to maintain visual continuity. These were merged with local symbols and unique regional themes, producing an eclectic identity that appealed to the 18-30 demographic. Flyers, posters and t-shirts were all emblazoned with the Oxjam Leicester brand and an easily updateable website acted as a focal point for the promotion and organisation of the events.
