About a year ago, my father gave me an old Voigtlander Brilliant camera he used to own. I decided to shoot a portait series with the first roll of film I’d use. I portrayed people who make pictures. Some are graphic designers, one a photographer, one a filmmaker, one is a painter, one makes amazing street art and one doesn’t really make pictures, but sounds. Also one is a double exposure, I don’t really know what that makes him.
The pictures didn’t turn out to be too great but I still like that I could get these people on one roll of film, because all of them have a distinct influence on my own creativity.
