Something that has always fascinated me as I walk for miles around NYC is seeing just how differently people's lives are at a particular moment in time. Someone sits reading in a cafe, another hugs a loved one goodbye, someone rushes down the subway stairs to catch a train, another sits and dreams of a better life. I decided to try a photo series where I walk on a particular street in Manhattan for only one hour and take photos of anyone that tells some kind of story to me. My goal with the series is to show just how differently, and perhaps even how similarly, we all exist in a very brief slice of time. These photos were all taken within an hour walking on Broadway. Something that has always fascinated me as I walk for miles around NYC is seeing just how differently people's lives are at a particular moment in time. Someone sits reading in a cafe, another hugs a loved one goodbye, someone rushes down the subway stairs to catch a train, another sits and dreams of a better life.

I decided to try a photo series where I walk on a particular street in Manhattan for only one hour and take photos of anyone that tells some kind of story to me. My goal with the series is to show just how differently, and perhaps even how similarly, we all exist in a very brief slice of time.

These photos were all taken within an hour walking on Broadway. I started at 34th St. and walked as far as an hour would take me– ending up around Prince St.
