I started by thinking about what objects are traditionally thought of as "male", and the first thing that came to mind were tools. I chose to make my object out of fabric to also link in with the sexism point, as even in this century, sewing is still considered to be a female process. From this I started thinking about how women are sometimes viewed as objects and how women are sometimes expected to look.
