Norwegian Gas Net specializes in construction and operation of large propane gas network, with installations
all over Norway, and has 6,000 customers in the portfolio. After Norwegian Gas Net took over most of Statoil’s
residential gas network across Norway, they needed a new graphic identity that showed credibility and that
they are a serious actor in the market.

The logo symbol is based on, and playing with letters NGN. It describes a movement and is designed in a circular
form, the purpose is to give the symbol a natural and organic form and at the same time be a metaphor of gas
in movement. The green color with the context of images from the Norwegian nature symbolizes focus on the
environment. The logo type is selected to provide contrast to the logo symbol and create a dignified and serious
expression of a serious actor.
