Nike Jordan Brand - The Interview

  • NBA world champ and Finals MVP was becoming a Jordan Athlete. It was a big deal. Really. So instead of a glowing announcement, we went one further. Maybe a few more, actually. "The Interview" saw D-Wade applying for a (fictional) position at Jordan with HR consultants who were as hard-hitting as they were clueless. Thanks to the miracle that we call the interweb, the user got to guide the questions, which provided a background on Mr. Wade. 

    We took a bit of a risk counting on Wade to improvise, but we hedged our bets with Second City talent when we filmed in his hometown of Chicago. I concepted, wrote and co-directed the piece, which was filmed entirely for digital. It worked out well.
