New York City Wedding Suite

With a wedding in New York City, Rachel and Jean wanted their wedding stationery to be inspired by the city's architecture. It's fitting that the colors for the wedding are black and gold. To make the invitation special, there is a blind hit inspired by the art deco design on the elevator door in the Chrysler Building. All of the borders and design aspects within the suite are inspired by various structural elements of iconic New York buildings.

The ancillary pieces continue this trend, especially with the program cover, escort card, place card and personal stationery. For the table names, each one represents a building and focuses on an architectural element for the graphic. I enjoyed finding which parts of the buildings I wanted to illustrate for the table names.
