The name of the publication is literally translated to “Don't be a gourd (croatian expression for fool) while buying tangerines in Zagreb on Dolac - or a short guide through Dolac”, and it is inspired by the name of the movie “Don't be a menace to South Central while drinking your juice in the hood”. It is quite small (A6 format) so it could fit in every pocket, printed in 40 copies for the purpose of the exhibition in the ULUPUH gallery in Zagreb, Croatia. It was made by Nikša Eršek, Pavao Kuharić and Filip MykaPolo Pomykalo.
It is a short guide whose purpose is to enable worthwhile and efficient shopping on Zagreb's main market Dolac. It contains tips and tricks collected from the rich experience of many sellers, housewives, country women and men, gastronomes, buyers and gourmands which are regular customers of the city market. It reveals a lot of small secrets of the great masters: when, what, where and how much.
