Natural Images & Forms
These are drawings enhanced with watercolour that each began in the contemplation of my natural surroundings.  I've lived for seventeen years in creative heaven, a creative haven on Cortes Island, in splendid islolation among all the objects, images and eccentric people that I love.  I created this body of work a few years ago.  Each was drawn on watercolour paper either with watercolour pencils or graphite pencil.  In some watercolour was added.  In others the watercolour was added to a later print.  Much to my surprise the originals all sold quickly.  I plan to do more work in this manner.  The intricacy and detail appeal.

Farm Trees and Light, original watercolour enhanced with Prismacolour pencil and decoupaged to stained plywood panel.  I experimented with this presentation technique to avoid putting watercolour under glass.  I am pleased with the results.
