Najds & Hijadzes arabian coffee is a personal project for an imaginary brand that I have developed from the start. The name comes from a traditional coffee brewing method that is common in Najd (literally Highland, central region of the Arabian Peninsula) and Hijaz (region in the west of present-day Saudi Arabia), which includes flavoring the coffee with 4 spices: cardamom, cinnamon, clove, and saffron (to give it a golden color). This traditional method uses coffee beans that are not roasted, so it is a beverage entirely unlike what most people think of as coffee.
