Di had a great opportunity to design the New Zealand Native Trees series. Being a proud 5th generation New Zealander, and having worked with the Department of Conservation over a year ago, she knew exactly who to contact to find out what were the Trees that were voted New Zealand’s most popular. Five trees were chosen to represent the issue, so alongsideher husband – Stephen Fuller – a highlyrespected, experienced and versatile Illustrator, made a dynamic duo. Detail was king with this botanical series, with the stamps been drawnand painted at a large size to make sure every detail of the trees anatomy wascaptured and rendered correctly.
