Notturno is a space sound installation producing sounds with electroluminescent lights. We used zips as elements to complete this creation. We installed different lengths of zips on walls and set the installation in a dark space. When visitors walked into this dark space and unzip the zips, lights and sounds will come at the same time and mix together, which will offer spectators an experience of discovering another space.

This is a 48 hour competation in the art hack week, my team has four members with different background. At first, we meet at VEGA Wang's studio to know each other and try to find each one's interest and advantage.
When I look around in VEGA Wang's studio I find some interesting things: a lot of zippers are discarded on the floor, and I also find that some of VEGA Wang's dresses are made by Electroluminescent Light, which is a very good material, because the color of Electroluminescent Light looks mysterious and people will not feel dazzling, then I have some ideas ......
I tell my ideas to my team mates, and they are all very like it. ALong, a engineer, he proposes that we can use Kinect to make the light sing, it will make the installation more interesting. Let's see what we do~
