Visual identity for a Norwegian importing company named NorMeat.
NorMeat is an importing company that was founded in 2012 as cooperation between the three largest meat wholesalers in Norway - Grillstad, Primagruppen and Fatland. The company aims to bring in quality meat from the EU to Norway through a healthy and efficient process without any extra and unnecessary layers of distribution.
We took inspiration in a cow’s ear mark (a commonly known symbol for registration of cattle and other animals in Norway) when we developed the visual profile. We did so because we wanted the logo to underpin NorMeat’s intentions of a transparent process of import and a as a quality assurance to their customers.
