This assignment asked to produce three posters to advertise the Ministry of Sound’s London Saturday Session night club events; our tutor asked us to think outside the box when producing our posters. This was originally a very difficult task as it was hard to think of an idea that reflects Ministry of Sound but with an alternative look.

I have chosen not to include the club night’s information on the original poster as I wanted the images to stand out, I have chosen to include a QR scanner which links to another image containing the clubs information. I felt this added a modern twist on the final design.

I had also chosen to use ‘Saturday Recession’ as my title as I feel it gave a good play on words which gave me the initial idea for my images and also reflected with the economies current climate.
