This work in progress highlights the role the external world plays in defining our inner world. Anthony Berthiaume once said “we all wear masks, and the time comes when we cannot remove them without removing some of our own skin”. The fascination with the mask is held across cultures, societies and time. We hold the idea of a mask alongside the idea that we can play or participate in a play about life. In the masks we wear, we fear little. Our true feelings and self, hide protected behind the mask. The real fascination is in what truths lie behind the mask. Read Less
