MEMORABELE MOMENTEN

One of the 15 winning posters of GoodAmsterdam.

Dutch-based charity Memorabele Momenten brings art, dance andmusic to children at a young age, stimulating their communication, social skills, language development, coordination and creativity.
The poster was developed to help MEMO get recognition from theMinistry of Education, Culture and Science OCW, and awareness from thegeneral public to a child's right to a cultural and artistic educationat an early age.

I developed the creative concept for the poster and submitted aninitial design. The poster was chosen as one of the three finalists of its brief, and I was paired with Dutch artist Emiel Steenhuizen, who assisted me with the art direction of the final piece. Dutchcopywriter Will Georgi developed the poster's copy, which reads'Memorabele Momentem stimulates your child's development'.

The final poster was printed and hung around the streets ofAmsterdam from October 2009. A special launch party was held at Pakhuisde Zwijger, Amsterdam, on September 30, and a special edition of ZMagazine was printed with all 15 final designs.
